I do love white kitchens. I love shaker white especially, with some glass doors on wall cabinets. That is my favorite style of white kitchen. I had one I loved back in Pasdadena. It was fairly small and not hard to keep clean.
There are manhy who choose flat panel white doors. We have SEVENTEEN, yes, seventeen different whites, which tells you the size of the demand for white. So, if you love white, or simply prefer it, I can understand and support your vision! But I will admit here that I prefer colors these days. I love gray and the satin grays are my current top choice. (tip: Try mixing gray with some light woodgrains).
The grays come in high gloss, light and dark, as well as smooth or satin grays of light, dark, medium and more. There are almost as many choices in the gray family as there are in the white.
There are kitchens that need more color though. Or in which a metallic look would be outstanding. It takres courage and a real sense of design to choose color in a kitchen cabinet door. Our clients for colors are typically interior designers, in fact. But anyone can know what they love.
I admit that having 103 color choices can make it hard to decide at times. Especially in our affordable line. We’ve got quality and choice (sounds like a pitch but it’s true).
One thing to know as you plan a kitchen remodel is that ther layout, or what we call the kitchen design, is more important and a priority over color choices. Design the layout first, perhaps with colors in mind or not. Then, you cam decide on a color. Or colors. You can achieve some high end looks with more than one color. (we have only two prices, standard colors and poremium colors. The boxes and options are all the same, but the finish on the door costs more or less.)
